SHAFTSBURY -- Funeral services for Gary Lee Williams were held Monday, Dec. 11, 2006 at Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home in Bennington. The Rev. Michael DeMasi, cs.c., conducted the service. The Rev. DeMasi offered words from scripture and delivered the eulogy. Those in attendance listened to the hymns “On Eagles Wings” and “Here I Am Lord.”Interment followed in the family lot in Center Shaftsbury Cemetery where the Rev. DeMasi offered burial rites and committal prayers. Serving as pallbearers were Gary’s sons, Derek and Jason Williams, and Mike Mozier and Ed Gulley.Gary Lee Williams a resident of Perry, Fla., died Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.Arrangements were under the care of Hanson-Walbridge Funeral Home 213 West Main Street, Bennington.
