ENFIELD - Gail L. Jordan, 30, died Thursday, July 12, 2012, at Mass. General Hospital in Boston. She was born January 20, 1982, in Woodsville, a daughter of Galen and Barbara (Ray) Marsh Sr. and grew up in Bristol, graduating from Newfound Regional High School. At the age of 15, Gail was diagnosed with leukemia, which with the help of her family, especially her brother Gary who donated his bone marrow to Gail, she was able to survive. During that illness, she was so determined not to get behind in school and to graduate with the rest of her class that she had a tutor, Mary Gallagher, come to her home to teach her so that she would finish school on time. Later at the age of 21, she again battled cancer, this time against Hodgkin's lymphoma, which she fought to overcome, only to battle against H1N1 and double pneumonia just two years ago. Through it all, Gail continued to live life to the fullest and always have a positive outlook on things, as well as becoming known as a fierce fighter. While in high school, Gail played on the field hockey team and took a large role in helping to plan class trips. In her time since high school she has worked as an office manager at her father's business, Galen Marsh & Sons Inc. as well as a pharmacy tech at Walmart in Lebanon. Gail will be remember for her bubbly personality, whose loss will surely leave a larger hole in the lives of those who knew her, as well as a wonderful step-mother and step-grandmother to her husband's family and aunt to all of her nieces and nephews. In her spare time she was an avid motorcycle rider and a member of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club, Chapter 9.
