WILLIAMS Funeral Services for Mrs. Vinie Elois Williams will be held at 1PM, WEDNESDAY, January 23, 2002 in Friendship Missionary Baptist Church, 7141 New Kings Rd., with Rev. Isaac Roberts, Pastor, with Rev. Gary DeSue, Pastor of Mt. Moriah AME Church, where she held membership, officiating. Mrs. Williams, of 7957 Shrike Ave., died January 16, 2002 in a local hospital. A native of Far Rockaway, NY, she resided in Jacksonville for over 50 years. She was employed by Chuckwagon, Inc. until she retired in 1986 after many years of dedicated service. Survivors include her daughters, Mses. Barbara Young, Denise Elois Hampton, Sonia Young (Keith) and Flora Bennett (Holsey); sons, Lester Young, Andrew (Anita) and Larry (Deidre) Gibson; 17 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; sister, Mrs. Audrey McCray; brother, Craig Williams; sister-in-law, Ms. Dorothy Pleas; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Mrs. Williams will rest in the mortuary for visitation of friends Tuesday from 5PM until 8PM (where the family will receive friends at 5PM) and in the church Wednesday from 11AM until the hour of service. Interment will be in Edgewood Cemetery.
