Francois Brian McDonald 1991 - 2002 Francois Brian McDonald,11, of Moncton, passed away peacefully surrounded by his parents and twin brothers at the Isaak Walton Killam Hospital, Halifax, NS on Friday November 29, 2002 after a brief and courageous battle with cancer. Born in Moncton son of Brian and Janice (Nowlan) McDonald. Francois was a grade 6 student at L'Ecole Beausejour. Francois loved sports and was a member of the Moncton Minor Hockey Association, Moncton Minor Baseball Association, an Honorary Member of the Moncton Firefighters Assoc., he enjoyed videogames, street hockey and bicycling with his many friends. Having undergone a kidney transplant in 1996, Francois enjoyed life to its fullest and was adored by his loving brothers and family. Besides his parents Francois will be sadly missed by his twin brothers Marc and Martin, at home, maternal grandparents Jim and Irene (LeBlanc) Nowlan, Moncton, paternal grandparents Jim & Gilberte (Leger) McDonald, Moncton, godparents Ann (Nowlan) and George LeBlanc, Dieppe, his aunts and uncles, Roberta (Nowlan) and Vernon Smith, Edmonton, AB, Denise (McDonald) and Jim Casey, Bill McDonald (Crystal), Gary McDonald and special relative Claire LeBlanc all of Moncton, cousins, Sarah, Luc, Daryl, Kimberly, Christine, Jeffrey, Amy and Michelle. Resting at Ferguson Knowles Funeral Home, 1657 Mountain Rd., Moncton. Visitation Sunday December 1, 2002, 2-4, 7-9. Funeral Mass at Notre Dame de Grace Catholic Church, Moncton, Monday December 2, 2002, 11:00 am. Reception following the service. Interment in Our Lady Of Calvary Cemetery, Dieppe.
