Frances T. Hofman of OwegoFrances T. Hofman, 92, of Owego, passed away on Tuesday, October 15, 2002. She was predeceased by four brothers, Ambrose, Alfred, Joseph and Dominic. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Lewis and Margaret Hofman, San Diego, Calif.; four nephews, Jim, Tom, Joe and Peter; four nieces, Pat, Kay, Lois, Dorothy; and numerous grandnieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Miss Hofman was a member of St. Patrick's Church of Owego and was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and The Catholic Daughters of America. She assisted her brother, Ambrose, on the family farm on East Beecher Hill Rd. and loved gardening and her flowers. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 22 at 10 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Owego. Burial will follow in the Parish Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Estey & Munroe Funeral Home, 15 Park St., Owego. Memorial contributions may be made in Frances T. Hofman's memory to the Tioga County Rural Ministry, 60 North Ave., Owego, N.Y. 13827.
