Frances Allen Morris died Friday, April 16, 2004, at the age of 92 after a lengthy illness.Her visitation and funeral will be Monday, April 16, 2004, at the Tuscumbia Church of Christ building. Visitation will be from noon until 2 p.m., with the funeral following at 2 p.m. The burial will be in Tuscumbia Oakwood Cemetery.Bob Plunket will officiate.Morrison Funeral Home, in Tuscumbia, is directing. Grandsons and grandsons-in-law will serve as pallbearers. The elders and former elders of the Tuscumbia Church of Christ will serve as honorary pallbearers.Mrs. Morris is survived by one son, James H. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Morris; parents, James and Tina Allen; and a grandson, Dean Morris Foster.Mrs. Morris was a member of the Tuscumbia Church of Christ, where she taught Bible to both young people and adult ladies for many years. She loved flowers and was an active life member of the Helen Keller Garden Club and was a certified judge for flower shows. She was a wonderful Christian mother and part-time secretary for Morris Motors.Memorials may be made to Tuscumbia Church of Christ, Mars Hill Bible School or Heritage University.
