PIERCY, FLORENCE EVELYN "HONEY" (McDONALD) - With her loving family surrounding her, Florence Evelyn "Honey" (McDonald) Piercy passed away at her home in Lincoln, NB on Tuesday, March 20, 2007. She was 73. Born August 23, 1933 in Fredericton, she was the daughter of the late Angus and Charlotte (Hazlett) McDonald. Florence was the last surviving member of her immediate family and was a life long resident of Lincoln. She was a past member of the Eastern Star. Florence is survived by her husband of 56 years, W. J. Ewen "Mike" Piercy; her five children, Tim Piercy (Wendy), Annette Munn (Bob), Ted Piercy (Louise), Tom Piercy (Janet) and Terry Piercy (Debbie) all of Fredericton; 14 grandchildren, Trent, Shelley, Tyson, Todd, Justin, Travis, Tyler, Kayle, Michael, Katie and Karley Piercy, Sherry, Becky and Bonny Munn; three great grandsons, Cameron, Ryan and Oliver; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Predeceased by and infant daughter Juanita, an infant grandson Andrew, brothers Ray and Tom and sisters Edie, Jerry and Fran. Resting at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton, on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held from the Lincoln Baptist Church on Thursday, March 22, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Harold Sparkes officiating. Pallbearers will be grandchildren Trent, Todd, Tyson, Justin, Kayle and Michael. Interment in the Lower Lincoln Cemetery at a later date.
