HAMILTON - Evelyn L. Owens, 86, of Hamilton Township, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2012, surrounded by her loving family.Born in Trenton she was a lifelong Hamilton resident. She was a kind, loving and caring person. It was said by her grandson, Craig, "If you look up 'good' in the dictionary, there should be a picture of her." She was a longtime volunteer for Meals on Wheels in Hamilton and a longtime caregiver for her husband. Her main love was her family, children, grandchildren and great-grandchild. She enjoyed her early morning breakfasts with her sister, Gert, and sister-in-law, Jean. She was also an avid Phillies fan.Predeceased by her parents, Adolphus H. and Hazel (Fletcher) Beebe, and her brothers, Howard and Ira Beebe, she is survived by her husband, Frank Owens; her daughter and son-in-law, Diane and John Hutton; her son and daughter-in-law, David and Joanne Owens; her sister, Gertrude Seabridge; her grandchildren, Craig Smolar and his wife, Jamie, and Eric Owens and his wife, Michelle (Dunlap) Owens and her step-grandchildren, Lisa and Angelo Fatiga; her great-granddaughter, Chloe Smolar and her step-great-grandchildren, Matthew and Sean Fatiga; her brother and sister-in-law, John and Jean Owens, and sister-in-law, Jean Owens; and many nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 4, 2012, at 8:30 a.m. at the Saul Memorial Home, 1740 Greenwood Ave., Trenton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church, 3816 East State St. Extension, Hamilton.
