Ernest DesRoches 1937 - 2006 CORMIERVILLE, NB - Ernest DesRoches, husband of Jeannita (Désprés) DesRoches, of Cormierville passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2006 at the Dr. Georges-L. Dumont Hospital at the age of 68 after a lengthy illness. Born on October 17, 1937 in Tignish, PE, he was the son of the late Edward DesRoches and Dorothy Maillet. Ernest was a mechanic by trade and he attended the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church in Cocagne. Besides his wife, Jeannita DesRoches; he is survived by one daughter, Claudette Berthe (René) of Cocagne; three sons, Ronald (Gisèle), Marc (Sylvie) both of Cocagne, Michel (Nadine) of Moncton; four sisters, Viola Frigault (Gerard), Anne-Marie Boucher (Gerard), Blanche McGrath (Bernie), Elaine Freeman all of Toronto and surrounding area; four brothers, Ivan (Juliette) of Cocagne, Leroy of Kensington, PE, Alban (Maureen) of Aylmer, Qué., Francis (Marianne) of Toronto; five grandchildren, Jessica, Martine, Sophie, Luc, Danika as well as several nieces and nephews. Remains are resting at the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church Slumber Room, Cocagne. Visitation will take place on Monday from 7 to 9 and Tuesday from 2 to 3:45. The Funeral service will be held at the Saint-Pierre Roman Catholic Church on Tuesday June 20, 2006 at 4:00 pm. The interment will take place in the Parish Cemetery. Donations to the Dr. Georges-L.
