EAST NASSAU Erik Allister Martin, infant son of Jeffrey A. and Jessica Ruth Martin of East Nassau, died Saturday, September 27, 2003 at Albany Medical Center in Albany, N.Y. He was born September 22, 2003 at Samaritan Hospital in Troy, N.Y. In addition to his parents, he is survived by grandparents, Ronald Martin of Pensacola, Fla, Patricia Desmond Martin of East Nassau and Dennis and Tara Backus Ruth of Corvallis, Ore.; great-grandparents, Marion Desmond of Phoenix, Ariz., C. Allen and Louise Ruth of Hagerstown, Md. and Gouverneur C. and Shirley Backus of Seaside Ore.; two aunts and one uncle. Arrangements were made by Collins-Calhoun Funeral Home, Rutherford, N.J. A graveside service was held Monday, October 1, 2003 at Mount Hebron Cemetery in Montclair, N.J. The Rev. David Gable officiated.
