ERICKSON Eric John Erickson, 50, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2012 at home with his loving wife Joanne, by his side. He was born on July 29, 1961, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Epsie Erickson and the late R. Edward Erickson. Eric graduated from Englewood High School in 1979 and began working at Knott & Company Jewelry Store where he continued to work until his death. He developed many lasting friendships with customers and business associates alike during his 30 plus years with Knott & Company. Eric will be remembered by all who knew him for his friendship and positive attitude. Eric was a loving husband, son, brother, uncle and friend who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Eric is survived by his devoted wife, Joanne Erickson; his mother, Epsie Erickson, of Jacksonville, FL; his beloved twin brother, Charlie Erickson (Nancy), of Ponte Vedra, FL; brother George Erickson, Sr. (Mary), of Ponte Vedra, FL; a sister, Janice Nolan, of Jacksonville, FL; a niece, Kelley Erickson and three nephews, George Erickson, Jr., Edward Erickson and Daniel Erickson. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Monday, April 9, 2012, at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 4115 Hendricks Ave. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Hardage-Giddens.
