JOHNSON Emmy Lou Barnish Johnson, age 78, of Fairfield, died on Tuesday, August 17, 2004, at her home. Mrs. Johnson, beloved wife of the late Ernest R. Johnson, was born in Bridgeport, and was a lifelong Fairfield resident. She was a retired registered nurse. She is survived by one son, Raymond E. Johnson of Fairfield; one daughter and her husband, Sharon D. and Charles DeVaux III, of Stratford; five grandchildren: Eric Johnson, Jill Daly and her husband, Gregory, Chrissy DeVaux, Lindsey DeVaux and Melissa DeVaux; and two great-grandchildren, Brianne and Brendan Daly. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday at 9:15 a.m. from the Larson Funeral Home, 2496 North Avenue, Bridgeport, and at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church, Fairfield. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery, Stratford.
