Emily Farrell of Pearl River, NY, died on December 5, 2003 at Nyack Hospital. Emily was born in Jersey City, NJ on December 6, 1912 to John and Emma (Kopps) Mooney. She was a devoted mother to her son, Donald. She lived all her adult life in Rockland County. She worked for many years in the textile industry at Heidenberg Textiles in Closter, NJ. Emily belonged to the Pearl River Senior Citizens and Volunteers of Rockland. She loved to knit and crochet and she was an avid fan of crossword puzzles. She is survived by her son, Donald and his wife, Linda; her grandchildren: Donald, Eileen, Christopher and Cassandra, and her great-grandchildren: Shawn, Michael and Michelle and many nieces. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, 10 am, at the Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church in Tappan, NY. Private cremation will follow. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Moritz Funeral Home in Tappan.
