SMITH Eloise Gainey Smith, 82, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2014. She was predeceased by her husband of 32 years, Alfred W. Smith. Mrs. Smith retired from the Federal Reserve Bank after a 32 year career. She enjoyed spending time reading, especially her Bible. Mrs. Smith was not one to hesitate speaking her mind, but she was always willing to help others with rides to the doctor s office or handling whatever needs had to be met. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is survived by her son, David Smith (Elizabeth); brother, Ronald Gainey (Angela); grandchildren, Shannon, Shaun, and Seth; and great grandchildren, Joshua, Brittni, Cody, and Kaedyn. The family will receive friends from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday, December 9th at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd. Mrs. Smith s Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 10th at the funeral home with Elder Gordon Smith officiating.
