Ellen Bryant Ellen Bryant, 87, a retired domestic worker, died Friday, June 4, 2004. The service will be at 3 p.m. EDT Saturday at Mount Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church in Lake Hall, with burial at Lake Hall Cemetery. Elder Lewis Anderson will officiate. Family will receive friends from 3 to 8 p.m. EDT Friday at Richardson's Family Funeral Care (878-4144) in Tallahassee.The funeral cortege will assemble at 2 p.m. EDT Saturday at 1605 Indiana St. She was a member of Mount Pleasant Primitive Baptist Church in the Lake Hall Community for more than 72 years. She was the church-school secretary for 16 years. She was a member of the usher's ministry and Choir No. 1 and was a supporter of the Youth & Young Adult Ministry.She is survived by a daughter, Geneva Haigbea; six grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law; five nieces; 12 nephews; three goddaughters, Donna Payne, Kim Davis and Belinda Jones; and a host of great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her husband, George "Doc" Bryant, and her stepdaughter, Ida Mae Bryant Coggins.
