STUART Elizabeth Howard Stuart, age 83 of Bridgeport, wife of the late James T. Stuart, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, October 3, 2007. She was a lifelong Bridgeport resident and worked for the Fermont Co. for many years. Survivors include her devoted son, James T. Stuart Jr.; three grandsons, James Thomas Stuart III and William Stuart, both of Waterbury and Scott Stuart of Southbury; a granddaughter, Monique Stuart of Washington, DC; a brother, Joseph Howard; a sister, Justine Mason; a niece, Mary Jane Athenson of Woodbridge; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by two sisters, Florence Dizepolo and Marie Paskin and a brother, Fred Howard. Funeral services will take place on Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at 9 a.m. in the Abriola Parkview Funeral Home, 419 White Plains Road, Trumbull, and at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick Church, Bridgeport for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in St. Michael Cemetery, Stratford. Friends may call on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. She will be missed by all, especially her dedicated companion and caregiver, Wanda Ramos.
