OKEECHOBEE - Earl C. Davis of Okeechobee died Monday, Dec. 16, 2013. He was born September 29, 1929 in Clanton, Alabama to John and Lanie Davis. A resident of Okeechobee since 1979, he worked at Autozone for 12 years. He enjoyed wheelin' and dealin' with cars. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his wife, Delores Upthegrove Davis; and his daughter, Claudia Howard. He is survived by two daughters, Lorna Green (Jim) of Okeechobee and Gail Preusch of Palm City; grandchildren, Dawn, Shelia, Travis, Jason, Jennifer, Jonathon and Catherine; ten great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; niece, Judy Davis of Alabama. Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, December 18, 2013 at Buxton & Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home.
