DAVIS Douglas Lyle June 11, 1942 - November 22, 2007. After a courageous battle with cancer, Doug passed away with family by his side. Survived by wife Sharon, mother Winnifred, son Todd, daughter-in-law Diane, daughter Tanya, step-daughter Diane (Steve), grandchildren Ashleigh, Tiana, Shayla, brother Brian, sisters Diane, Marie, Doreen, many nieces and nephews. Many other family members and friends. Special thanks to the nurses, doctors and many volunteers at the Palliative Care Center at Surrey Memorial Hospital. Also, Staff at the Regency Care Home and Dr. Green. For over 20 years, Doug proudly and safely transported many people on their holidays as a coach commander with Maverick Coach Lines. A memorial service to be held at the activity room at Huntington Gate, 9299 -121 St., Surrey, BC. December 1, 2007 at 2:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated. Doug will be missed by so many.
