DOROTHY JEAN DAVIS-LYON (NEE WORLEY) FORMERLY OF LOWELL, IN Dorothy Jean (nee Worley) Davis- Lyon, age 85 of Chicagoland Christian Village; formerly of Lowell, passed away Sunday, November 18, 2007. She is survived by three sons: Steve (Diane) Davis of Crown Point, Monte (Conni) Davis of Crown Point, and Barry (Caryn) Davis of Lowell; eight grandchildren: Lauri (Mike) Russell, Geneve (Brian) Terry, Amber (Kevin) Greenberg, Jeff Davis, Amy, Ashlee, and Bobby Davis, Billy (Anna) Davis; six great-grandchildren: Matthew & Michael Russell, Summer, Paul & Ross Terry, Holden Davis; and one great-great-grandson, Isaac Talley. She was preceded in death by husbands: Paul J. Davis and Alex Lyon; parents: Rev. Edmund L. and Lutie Worley. Dorothy was a member of the First Christian Church and Southlake Christian Church, and a member of the Christian Women's Fellowship. She was a volunteer at St. Anthony Medical Center and the League of Women's Voters. Dorothy graduated from Lowell High School and also attended Indiana University. She enjoyed playing the organ and music, cherished her pets, and loved being with her family. Friends may call at Pruzin & Little Funeral Service, 811 East Franciscan Drive (on State Road 55 south of State Road 231), Crown Point on Tuesday from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. Private funeral services will be held for the family with Chaplain Frank Klobucar officiating.
