JOHNSON, DOROTHY A., 78, of Louisville, KY, died Monday, April 17, 2006 at the Regency Health Care and Rehab in Louisville. She was a daughter of the late Sam Madison and Velma Smith Madison. Beloved wife of the late James Everett Johnson. She was a housewife and a member of the Oak Grove United Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Elmer, Samuel, and Larry Madison. She is survived by her sons, Boyd Johnson (Bev), of Louisville, KY, Steve Johnson and companion Tammy Smith, of Brownsville, KY, and Stuart Johnson of Louisville, KY; daughters, Martenna Johnson, Aletta Spurlock (Terry), and Porsah Jones, all of Louisville, KY; sisters, Eva Cummings, of Hardinsburg, KY, Carlene Hall, of Louisville, KY, and Marlene Holland, of Louisville, KY; 13 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren. Her funeral service will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 21, 2006 at the Patton Funeral Home Brownsville Chapel. Burial will follow in the Johnson Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Wednesday, 9 a.m. - 9 p.m. Thursday, and 9-11 a.m. Friday.
