Johnson, 85, passed away Saturday, July 16, 2011 with her family by her side.Doris was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Fred.Doris was an active volunteer and leader for many organizations throughout her life, and was a longtime member of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority, XI XI Mu Chapter. She enjoyed family and friends, cooking and traveling, and spent many delightful hours in her garden.She is survived by her sons, Fred (Margaret), Lawrence (Dawn) and Richard; daughter, Diane Schaut; eleven grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.We will honor Doris' extraordinary life at a Memorial Service, Sunday, August 7, 2011 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.Express your condolences in our guestbook at pnj.com/obits
