Doris Maxine Miller, 70, of Laurel Baye Healthcare Center, died Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2006, at Greenville Memorial Hospital. Born in Greenville, she was a daughter of the late Leo F. and Pearl Hartsell Brown. Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and was a member of Park Place Church of God. Surviving are a son, Earl Hodge and wife, Fran, of Henderson, Nev.; two sisters, Betty Trammell of Greenville and Joyce Norris and husband, Johnny, of Greenville; a brother, Lonnie Brown of Macon, Miss.; and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Miller was first married to the late Ray Hodge; and her second husband, the late Richard Miller. Services will be held Friday at 1:30 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest, with visitation from noon to 1:30 p.m., prior to the service, at the funeral home.
