COX, Doris Irene (nee Armstrong) - Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family, on Saturday June 26, 2004 at Lakeridge Health Corp. Oshawa, at 91 years of age. Beloved wife of the late Ralph (Rex) Cox; loving sister of Marion Palmer and the late George Armstrong, both of Peterborough. Loving mother of Bob Cox and his wife Sheila of Oshawa and Joanne McKay and her husband Bob of St. Catharines. A very special and loving Grandma to Meredith Tunnicliff and her husband Christopher and Stephanie and Julia Cox, and Dodie to Doug, Kathy and Sue McKay. Relatives and friends will be received at the McINTOSH ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King Street East, Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Wednesday June 30, 2004 from 12 noon to 2:00 p.m. A service and celebration of Doris' long and happy life will be held in the chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment, following the service, at Oshawa Union Cemetery.
