PublixLAKELAND -- Ms. Doris Elizabeth Goodwin of Lakeland died of heart failure Wednesday (Nov. 23, 2005) at Lakeland Hills Center. She was 84.Born Sept. 17, 1921, in Elba, N.Y., Ms. Goodwin moved to Lakeland from New York in 1977. She worked for Steak 'n Shake and for Publix Super Markets.Ms. Goodwin is survived by her daughters, Linda Hellerman, Plant City, Beverly Hoole, Waterloo, N.Y.; sons, Ronald Porter and Larry Porter, both of Batavia, N.Y.; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.Services will be in Batavia. Central Florida Casket Store & Funeral Chapel, Lakeland.
