DORETHA GRACE MORRIS TALLADEGA - Funeral services for Mrs. Doretha Grace Morris, 63, will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. at Mt. Canaan Baptist Church with Dr. Horace L. Patterson officiating. Burial will be in Knoxville Cemetery. The body will be at the church for one hour prior to services. She died Monday, March 9, 2009 at her residence.Survivors: husband, Willie Morris; mother-in-law, Veola Williams of Detroit, Mich.; son Michael (Mary Ann) Patterson of Nashville, Tenn.; sons Jimmy (Della) Cook, Theodore Cook and Willie (Marcie) Cook of Talladega; five daughters: Janice (Bennie) Garrett of Alpine; Katherine (Stephen) Doctor of Lawton, Okla.; Shelia Brown; Jeri Lynn Warwick; Felecia (Larenza) Truss; three sisters: Hattie Mae (Leroy) James, Annie Peterson and Anna (Daniel) Williams; three brothers: Lewis Patterson, Ira (Evangela) Patterson and Reginald Patterson; three sisters in law; three brothers in law; 26 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 13 nieces; 10 nephews; host of cousins, other relatives and friends.Sims Funeral Service will direct.
