Dora Mae "Crawford" Hall, age 84, of Orient, IL passed away at 8:32 p.m. surrounded by her loving family Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Herrin Hospital in Herrin, IL. She was born November 15, 1925 in Parrish, IL to Robert and Florida Melvin Crawford. She was a member of Bethel Community Church in Benton, IL. She was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. Dora is survived by her husband: Robert Junior Hall of Orient; daughter: Donna Clark of West Frankfort; two sons: Jim Hall, Dale and Sandra Hall of Orient; daughter-in-law: Janet Crawford of Orient; eleven grandchildren: Lisa Wright, Amy Dunning, James Robert Hall, Justin Hall, Scott Crawford, Tracey Conaway, Brian Crawford, Danica Palmer, Linda Rich, Jonny Layne, Debbie Majia; eleven great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son: Danny Crawford; parents; four brothers: Roy, Bob, Joel, Jackie Gene Crawford; and three sisters: Helen Overturf, Lena Ross, Mildred Crawford. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 23, 2010 at Union Funeral Home in West Frankfort, IL with Brother Mike Cash officiating.
