Dona Morris, 83, of Waterloo, Ala., died Sunday, June 28, 2009. Visitation was Monday and will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at Shackelford Chapel, Savannah, Tenn. The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, June 30, 2009, at Shackelford Chapel, with burial in Centenary Cemetery, Wayne County, Tenn. Officiating at the funeral will be Johnny Banks and Charles Linam.She was a native of Wayne County, Tenn.She is survived by her sons, Marshall Morris, of Lutts, Tenn., Larry Morris, of Savannah, Tenn., Donnie Morris, of Florence, Ala., Randy Morris, of Waterloo, Ala., David Morris, of Waterloo, Ala., Wade Morris, of Waterloo, Ala.; daughters, Peggy Smith, of Florence, Ala., Patsy Cossey, of Florence, Ala.; sisters, Flora McFall, of Savannah, Tenn., Lois Bevis, of Lutts, Tenn.; 20 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Morris; sisters, Cora McGee, Ora McFall; brothers, Lawson Hinton, Marvin Hinton, Clark Hinton, R.D. Hinton, Boyce Hinton; grandchild, Diwight Morris; father, Witt Hinton; and mother, Roxie Hinton.She was a homemaker and a member of Whites Creek Freewill Baptist Church.
