Desiree Anna Fortier (nee Martin) Peacefully at the Lorne Memorial Hospital in Swan Lake, Manitoba on Saturday, June 2, 2007, Mrs. Desiree Fortier of Somerset, Manitoba passed away at the age of 84 years. She leaves to mourn her passing two sisters: Seraphine (Emile) Rogg of Redvers, Sk, Louise (Gerard) Talbot of Manitou; one brother Henry (Marcia) Martin of Redvers, Sk; one sister-in-law Lina Martin of Redvers, Sk; and numerous nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Benoit in 1996 and by one brother Jules in 2000. Funeral Services will be held at Adam’s Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 6, 2007 at 2 p.m. with Father Gabriel Levesque officiating. Interment to follow at the Somerset Parish Cemetery.
