Denise Dion widow of Daniel Dion of C Road, Miramichi passed away Wednesday February 12, 2014 at Miramichi Regional Hospital, at the age of 78. Born in Gaspe P.Q., she was the daughter of the late Polycarpe and Solomee (Henley) Rioux. She was a homemaker and a member of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary R C Church. She is survived by two sons, Mario Dion of C I Road and Gilles Dion of St. John, three sisters and eight brothers, two grandchildren, David and Amanda, two great grandchildren, Ava and Kyleigh. Mrs. Denise Dion is resting at Davidson’s Funeral Home, 597 Old King George Hwy, with visitation this evening from 7-9 and Saturday from 1 to 3 . The Funeral Service will follow 3 p.m. at Davidson’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Father Stanislas Paulin officiating. Burial will be in St Mary’s R C Cemetery later in the spring. In memory of Denise donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit of the Miramichi Regional Hospital.
