Deloris Morgan Smith, 69, wife of James E. Smith, of 103 Wild Turkey Way, died May 24, 2002. Born in Greenville County, she was the daughter of the late George Franklin and Hazel Nix Morgan. Mrs. Smith was a graduate of the 1951 class of Parker High School, and retired from Southern Bell in 1985 after 32 years of service. She was a member of Calvary First Baptist Church and the Adult Sunday School Class. Surviving in addition to her husband are one son and daughter-in-law, Tony and Chandra Smith, of Easley; two brothers, Bill Morgan of Taylors and Ben Morgan of Greenville; and three grandchildren, Heather, Heidi and Heath Smith. Services will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. at The Mackey Mortuary, Century Drive, with the Rev. Gary Rogers and the Rev. Dr. Roger Couch officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends today from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Serving as pallbearers will be Heath Smith, Benji and Todd Morgan, Scott Clayton, Dirk Stapleton and Brad McCarson.
