Debra Williams SchenectadyDebra Williams, 61, of Schenectady, NY, passed away due to a long illness on Monday at Ellis Hospital. Born on November 6, 1955 in New York City, Debra was the daughter of Aretha Warren and the late Rufus Paul. Debra worked as a secretary for the NYC Police Dept. for many years before moving to Schenectady in 1996. She was a member of Bethel C.O.G.I.C for many years. In addition to her father, Debra was predeceased by her wonderful husband, Michael Williams. She is survived by her four loving children, Raheem Paul, Ebony Paul, Kimberli Humphrey and Marty Humphrey, all of Schenectady; her siblings, Corliss Paul, Deenie Paul and Cheryl Harper, all of NYC; and six grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 5 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 10, 2013 at Light's Funeral Home, 1428 State St., Schenectady.
