David Thomas Orr, 60, of 2800 Brushy Creek Road, died Monday, July 21, 2008, at his home. Born in Anderson County a son of Obera Ellison Orr of the home and the late Lake Hugh Orr, Mr. Orr was a graduate of Wren High School and attended Bob Jones University. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church. Surviving, in addition to his mother, are two brothers, Larry Orr of the home and Sammy Orr of Blythewood. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with the Rev. Dr. David Gallamore officiating. Burial will follow in Rock Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, prior to the service. Memorials may be made to the Building Fund of Rock Springs Baptist Church, 201 Rock Springs Road, Easley, SC 29642. The family is at the residence.
