PETERSON David Donald Peterson, 51, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, August 15, 2009. He was born January 15, 1958 in Jacksonville, FL and has lived here all of his life. He was a member of Celebration Baptist Church in Yulee, FL. He was a member of the Executive Board of the Local IBEW # 2358. He was a graduate of Andrew Jackson High School class of 1976. He loved fishing, the beach, kayaking and out door activities. He was a field service Tech with JEA for over 30 years. He is predeceased by his mother, Mary Lou Peterson. He is survived by his wife of 10 years, Karen Peterson; father, Gerald Peterson; 4 sons, Jason Peterson (Tara), Joshua Bruce, Jarred Bruce and Lee Lowery; daughter, Amy Peterson; 2 brothers, Jerry Peterson (Jan) and Tom Peterson (Joyce); 2 sisters, Patti Eason and Janet Steen (Gary); 4 grandchildren, Jaimen, Amiyah, Kaylie and Arieanna; numerous nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Memorial services will be held on Thursday, August 20 at 6 PM at Springhill Baptist Church, 941017 Old Nassauville Rd., Fernandina Beach, FL 32034, with Pastor Mike Kwiatkowski officiating. Fellowship immediately following. The family has requested that no flowers be sent but instead to make donations to your local Leukemia society or the charity of your choice.
