DAVIS Darlene Davis, age 47 of Bridgeport, died Thursday, May 1, 2008 at St. St. Vincent's Medical Center. Born in Bridgeport, Darlene was a lifelong resident. She was a graduate of Housatonic Community College with an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and was employed in the billing department of Graham Massey Analytical Laboratory. Survivors include her husband, Robert Nelson Davis of Bridgeport; mother, Pauline Hailey Phelmetta of Bridgeport; one brother, Kevin Wilson of Alabama; one sister, Sylvia Wilson of Bridgeport; several nephews and nieces; her best friend, Felicia Smith; three close cousins, Lola and Tracey Hailey and Richard Hatcher. Funeral services will be held Saturday, 10 a.m. in West End Tabernacle CME Church, 265 Colorado Avenue, Bridgeport with Pastor Theodore Clark, officiating. Interment will take place in St. Michaels Cemetery, Stratford. Friends are invited to the viewing Saturday from 9 to 10 a.m. in West End Tabernacle CME Church. Morton's Mortuary, 25 Margaret E. Morton Lane, Bridgeport is in charge of arrangements.
