She was born July 29, 1954, in North Island, California, the daughter of Theodore and Lila (Bath) Johnson. She was a 1972 graduate of Kickapoo High School in Springfield.Cynthia operated a day care for children from her home while living in Tulsa and also in Sparta. She was an avid Bingo player, had raised Boston Terriers, and enjoyed art work.Survivors include: her mother, Lila Johnson, with whom she shared a home for the past 20 years; a daughter, Christie Cochrane and husband Guy, Broken Arrow, Oklahoma; a son, Eric Englind and wife Candace, Tulsa; three grandchildren, Ian Sedlemeyer, Anastacia Vandiver and husband Alx, and Gaige Englind; a great-grandchild, Stormee Vandiver; two sisters, Jeri Leonard, Nixa, and Diane Gaddy and husband, J.W., Rogersville; two nieces, Dawn Leonard, and Mindy Flannigan; and a nephew, Ted Gaddy. Her father, Theodore Johnson, preceded her in death.Visitation will be Wednesday, March 21, in Adams Funeral Home, Nixa, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. A graveside funeral will follow at 2:30 p.m. in Sparta Cemetery.
