Cora Lee Taylor SPARTANBURG, SC-- Mrs. Cora Lee Taylor, 88, of 107 Montana Street, passed Friday evening, March 26, 2010 at the Magnolia Place. She was the widow of Mr. George Elliott Taylor. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Wade T. Byrd and Mrs. Slyvia Kelly Byrd. She was a member of the Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. Mrs. Taylor was a teacher's aid and a school crossing guard at the Mary Wright Elementary School for 39 years. Survivors include two daughters, Precious Emma Taylor of Moore, SC; Barbara Ann Shelton of Crofton, MD, one sister, Slyvia Haynie of New York City; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter; and two great-grandsons. The family will receive friends at the home of her granddaughter, Robin Robinson, at 110 Vista Hill Drive, Spartanburg, SC. J. W. Woodward Funeral Home
