CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOMEWILLIAMS Mrs. Constance Claire Williams, age 84 of Milford, beloved wife of Clayton M. Williams Sr. of Milford, passed away peacefully Friday, August 28, 2009 at Milford Healthcare Center. Daughter of the late Sheridan and Constance Symons Wiltshire, she was born October 3, 1924, in New Haven. She graduated from Hill House High School and Whitney Secretarial School. She was married to her loving husband Clayton M. Williams Sr. and they have two sons, Clayton Jr. and Robert. Constance was a lifetime dedicated member of the St.Luke's Episcopal Church. In the past, she was active in the PTA on a local and state level and served as President of the Orchard Hills School PTA. She was also a driver for the Red Cross Motor Corps and member of the Milford Jaycees Wives. She retired in 1991 as the supervisor of payroll for the Milford Board of Education. Constance enjoyed music, traveling, gardening, reading and cooking. In addition to her beloved husband and her loving sons, survivors include her two treasured granddaughters, Teresa and Ashley; three cherished great-grandchildren; a sister,Agnes; and many friends. She was predeceased by a brother, Reginald. Interment will be private. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made St. Luke's Episcopal Church, 111 Whalley Ave, New Haven, CT 06511.
