->Charles W. WilliamsFISHKILL - Charles W. Williams of Fishkill, formerly of Peekskill, died on Wednesday, December 18, 2013, at the age of 80. He was born on March 19, 1933 in Peekskill, the son of Ambrose and Florence Banker Williams. He graduated from Peekskill High School Class of 1952. Mr. Williams was a veteran of the US Army, serving during the Korean War, stationed in Germany. On June 5, 1960, he married Margaret (Maggie) Cudworth in Peekskill. For forty years he worked as a Land Surveyor for Bunny Associates in North Salem, NY. After retiring from there, he worked seven more years for the Lakeland School District. In 2000, he and Maggie moved to Fishkill, where he attended the Fishkill Baptist Church. Mr. Williams also belonged to the Peekskill chapter of the Oddfellows. He is survived by his wife of fifty three years, Maggie, of Fishkill, two sons, Ernie (Virginia), and Edward Williams, grandchildren Philip Williams, Tina Bouton, Brandy Gilleo, seven great grandchildren, and two great great grandsons. He is predeceased by a brother, Robert Williams. A Funeral Service led by Pastor Howard Lawler of Fishkill Baptist Church, will be held at Dorsey-Carlone Funeral Home, 1100 Cortlandt St., Peekskill, on Tuesday, December 24, 2013, at 10 AM, followed by interment in Hillside Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor. Visiting at the funeral home on Monday, 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Donations in Mr. Williams name to the Music Ministry of Fishkill Baptist Church 107 Rt. 82 Fishkill, NY 12524, are appreciated.
