Carrie Logan Brown, 80, of 295 E. Pearl St., died June 22, 2003, at White Oak Manor Nursing Home.A native of Woodruff, she was the widow of the late Charles Brown and daughter of the late James Gene Logan and Daisy Gaston Logan.Survivors include six daughters, Daisy Blackwell, Cora Caldwell, Annie Lois Babb and Deborah A. Garrison, all of Greenville, Betty Jo Jennings, of Blacksburg, and Margaret Norman Thompson, of Laurens; two sons, Johnny Thompson and Nathaniel Garrison, both of Greenville; two sisters, Leavonia Walker and Mary Wilson, both of Greenville; four brothers, J.L. Logan and M.J. Logan, both of Greenville, L.J. Logan, of Simpsonville, and Frank Logan, of Spartanburg; 20 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lower Shady Grove Baptist Church in Woodruff. Burial at the church cemetery.The family is at the home of the daughter: Cora Caldwell, 4 Brockview Drive, Greenville. - W.J. Gist Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
