ORR, Carl Edward, 58, a resident of Trilby, passed away Tuesday, April 13, 2004 at East Pasco Medical Center. He was born on August 22, 1945 in Talladega, Ala. He was a heavy equipment operator for many years. He was a member of Church of God in Christ, where he served as a faithful and devoted choir member. He is survived by his wife, Lorene Orr of Trilby; six step-children, Faye J. Harris (Willis), Emma Thomas (Jesse), and Nathaniel Sims Jr., all of Tampa, Ruby Lee Stephens of Milton Town, N.Y., Lorenzo Sims and Michael Sims, both of Dade City; three god-daughters, Brenda Barker of Lacoochee, Fla., Beverly Williams of Jacksonville, Fla., and Beverly Taylor of Lakeland, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ruby Mae Greer (Ben) and Sarah Martin (Wallace), all of Anniston, Ala., and Mary Smith (Gary) of Lincoln, Ala.; two brothers, Odell (Rosie) Orr of Atlanta, Ga., and Louis (Rosa) Orr of Lincoln, Ala.; two sisters-in-law, Juanita Smith of Trilby and Josephine Se nior of Willingboro, N.J.; and a host of other relatives and sorrowing friends. The remains will repose at Church of God in Christ, 14626 7th Street, Dade City, FL, Friday, April 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. Homegoing services will be Saturday, April 17 at 11 a.m. at Church of God in Christ.
