WILLIAMS, BOBBY GENE, 84Ocala - Bobby Gene Williams, 84, of Ocala, Florida, died Tuesday, July 2, 2013 in Ocala. He was born June 10, 1929 in Hartford, Alabama. Mr. Williams was a farmer and lived most of his life in Tarrytown. He moved to Ocala in 1999. He loved fishing and telling stories. He was a member of Linden Church of God, Linden, FL. He is survived by his son, Ronnie (Vicki) Williams, of Ocala, FL; daughters, Marie (David) Gunter of Ocklawaha, FL, Vicky (Richard) Schroff of Ocala, FL; and Jennifer Bates of Lyles, TN; nine grandchildren; and his sister, Dorothy Harrell of Niceville, FL. Visitation will be held at Linden Church of God on Saturday, July 6, 2013 from 10:00 - 11:00 am. Services will follow at 11:00 am, Reverend Milton T. Williams and Reverend Norris Bryant will preside. Interment will follow at Linden Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army, P.O. Box 3628, Ocala, FL 34478-3628.
