PARKER Beverly J. Age 78 of Horseheads, NY, formerly of Wellsburg, NY passed away on Saturday, May 1, 2010 at home surrounded by her loving family. Beverly was born July 8, 1931 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late George and Martha Dalton Hanmer. She married her husband, Raymond L. Parker Jr., on May 19, 1956 and they would have celebrated their 54th Wedding Anniversary on May 19, 2010. Beverly was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who devoted her life to her family. She was pre-deceased by her son Scott Timothy Parker on April 5, 2004 and her daughter-in-law Christine Parker on August 23, 2007. Beverly had been a bookkeeper at Chemung Canal Trust in Elmira and worked at Hills Department Store in Horseheads, NY and was a volunteer at the Nutrition Center in Wellsburg, NY. She was a life-time communicant of Christ Episcopal Church in Wellsburg, NY and member of The Wellsburg Fire Department Auxiliary and a former member of the Katonal Rebeckah Lodge. Beverly is survived by her loving and devoted husband Raymond L. Parker Jr.; her loving children, Suzanne and Robert Kramer of Horseheads, NY, Raymond L. and Joanne Parker of Lowman, NY, Nancy and Nick Paluszkiewicz of Horseheads, NY, Michael and Sharon Parker of Murfreesboro, TN, Diane and Steve Struble of Horseheads, NY, James Parker of Stormsville, NY, and John Parker of Elmira, NY; beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren: sister, Martha Hanmer of Elmira, NY; several nieces, including special niece Mary Melissa Harris; nephews, cousins, and a host of caring friends, including special friends Jim McConnell, Anne Berlin (Grams), Lavere Hunter, Betty Hunter and family. Beverly will be remembered in spirit at the Wedding of her granddaughter, Tara and fiancé Brandon Spirawk. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Lynch Funeral Home, 318 West Broad Street, Horseheads, NY on Monday May 3, 2010 from 1-3 And 6-8 p.m. Mrs. Parker's Funeral Services will be held at the Funeral Home on Tuesday May 4, 2010 at 10 a.m. Beverly will be laid to rest next to her beloved son Scott Timothy in Ashland Cemetery in Wellsburg, NY.
