WILLIAMS Betty (Gole), 89, of Sparta, NJ beloved wife of the late Roger Williams (1991) on Saturday, June 28, 2014. Born in Chicago, IL, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Anna (Kallas) Gole. Before retirement, she was a home health aide for Visiting Nurses of Sussex and was a veteran of WWII serving in the Navy as a corpsman at Camp Pendleton and was awarded the World War II Victory Medal. Betty was active in the Karen Quinlan Hospice, a Girl Scout leader, member of the American Legion, Franklin, NJ and a member of the Pompton Reformed Church, Pompton Lakes. Surviving are four sons, Peter, Paul, Mark and Mike Bayer, one daughter, Jane and one sister, Annette Brown, 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; predeceased by a daughter, Bette Jean in 1969. Visitation on Tuesday (7/1) at the Richards Funeral Home, 4 Newark Pompton, Riverdale, NJ from 4-8 PM. Funeral service on Wednesday (7/2) at 11 AM. Interment Pompton Reformed Church Cemetery.
