BETTY WILLIAMS MELBOURNE Betty Ruth Williams, 71, a retired Mathe matician, passed away Tuesday, Janu ary 29, 2008, at the E.T. York Haven Hospice Care Center in Gainesville, FL. Betty was born in Princeton, Indiana. She came to Brevard County in 1951 from Indiana. She worked at Kennedy Space Center and was a mem ber of the Melbourne First Church of the Nazarene. Betty is survived by her chil dren, Randy (Linda) Williams of Gainesville, Tina (David) Porterfield of Melbourne, Terri (David) Clark of Indian Harbour Beach and Tracy (Scott) Seignious of Lake Placid, FL; ten grandchildren, Randy Lee (Shannon), Justin (Emily), Jennifer, Clark (Stephanie), Brandon (Karrie), Phillip, Madison, Chase, Chelsea and Dalton; two great-grandchildren, Sydney and Hunter; and a brother, Robert Crandall of Melbourne. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jim Crandall. Calling hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Jan uary 31st, at Florida Memorial Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 12 Noon Friday, February 1st, at the Melbourne First Church of the Nazarene. Entombment will be at Florida Memorial Gardens in Rockledge. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Melbourne First Church of Nazarene Youth Ministries, 2745 S. Babcock Street, Mel bourne, FL 32901.
