Betty raised her family in Old NE St. Pete and First Methodist Church. She earned a real estate broker's license and graduated with her master's degree from USF as Kappa Delta Pi, Honor Society member. She was preceded in death by her husband, H. Forrest Smith. Betty Smith is survived by her children, Mark Smith (Anne) of Orlando, Rick Smith (Eileen) of Largo, Nancy Fonseca (Raul) of Vermont; grandchildren, Alex, Annemarie, Kristi, Stacia, Brian; great-grandchildren, Austin, Sophia, Silas, and Raine. Betty attended high school in Rockton, IL, Stephens College in Missouri and lived in California before settling in St. Pete. Veterans Funeral Care 727-524-9202
