BETTY L. PETERSON Betty L. Peterson, age 80, of Fort Pierce, died April 9, 2006, at her residence. A native of Manchester, NH, she had made her home in Fort Pierce since moving from Lynnfield, MA, in 1990. She was an avid reader and painter, loved to play bridge, and was very athletic including playing tennis. Survivors include her husband of 58 years, Carl F. Peterson, of Fort Pierce; son, Carl E. Peterson of Nordland, WA; daughter Debora Mosher of Medway, MA; sister, Carolyn Preston of Hartford, CT; one grandson, Deric Peterson of Lexington, KY; and one greatgranddaughter, Katherine Elizabeth Peterson of Lexington, KY. She was predeceased in death by a son, Jay F. Peterson, in June 2004. Contributions may be made to: Hospice of Treasure Coast, 2500 Virginia Avenue, Fort Pierce, FL 34981.
