<!-- Betty Kinnie JOHNSON --> JOHNSON, Betty Kinnie Passed away peacefully on Aug. 21, 2009 in Nashville. She was born Aug. 22, 1927, in Detroit, MI, daughter of the late Orrin C. and Gladys Fike Kinnie. Betty was a retired educator, intent upon improving the world. After growing up in Nashville and raising her family there, she resided in Knoxville, TN, Albuquerque, NM, and briefly in Shanghai, China. She attended UT and completed a Master's Degree in Library Science at Peabody. She is survived by her four children, Katina Johnson, Kinnie Johnson, Amy Johnson, and Bonnie Spalding, nine grandchildren and one great grand-daughter, her brother, Bruce Kinnie and many cousins. There will be a memorial celebration on Nov. 28th at the Friends Meeting.
