BETTY JUNE SMITH - LAKELAND, Fla. - Betty June (Bruce) Smith, passed away at the age of 90 in Lakeland, Fla. Born in Charlottetown, P.E.I., Canada, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Betty was predeceased by her father, William Bruce, and mother, Gladys Bruce; her husband, Carleton Smith; and at the age of 17 days, her son, Frankie. She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Martinson and husband, Bryan, of Lakeland, Fla.; grandson, Trevor Wales and wife, Lynn; grandson, Colin Wales; granddaughter, Kerry Wales and partner, Eric Spoerl, and great-granddaughter, Rhea Marie Spoerl, all of Vermont. She is also survived by her daughter, Gail Legare, and grandson, Arthur; and sons, Michael Kent Smith, and Bill Smith. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched.
