->Fox, Betty (Julia Elizabeth)Rochester: 90, Saturday, January 8, 2011. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 66 years, Paul Frederick Fox; Children Nancy (John) and David (Rosa); and grandchildren Elizabeth, Casey and Jessica. Born Julia Elizabeth Lowery in Montgomery, West Virginia, Betty received her B.A. in English from University of Charleston, W VA. Her life was dedicated to her family, and to helping others through Red Cross, UNICEF, the Presbyterian Church, PEO, Delta Zeta sorority, and Lioness Club. She was also secretary to her Architect husband, Paul, for many years. Betty was a delight to be around; she had an infectious laugh and had many friends with which to share it. She enjoyed music and dancing, playing Bridge with her friends, reading, traveling and gardening; she was a devoted mother, wife and grandmother. In lieu of internment, Betty has been placed in the anatomical gift program at the University of Rochester Medical School. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 9, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the United Methodist Church in North Rose, New York.
