Betty Barker Smith, 81, of Cincinnati, formerly of Seymour, passed away at 8 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 1, 2013.Born Jan. 3, 1932, in Hazard, Ky., she was the daughter of Willard and Ruth (Brooks) Barker.Betty was a member of Church of God in Cincinnati. She was a restaurant cook for 31 years. She also helped with Meals on Wheels.Survivors include her children, Ruth Lynn Crabtree, Elizabeth Ann Vice and Danny Willard Crabtree; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and a brother, Roger Barker.She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rebecca Sue Barker Hollin; brothers, Lloyd Barker, Roy Barker and Leo Barker; and sisters, Geraldine Campbell and Pauline Sbarbati.A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Voss Chapel, Seymour, with the Rev.
